Blend of Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch, biodynamic viticulture.
Dry red, light to medium body.
From Burgenland, Austria.
Out of the wines I tried from Weingut Judith Beck, this is definitely my favourite one. It's velvety smooth, fruity and light-bodied. It's easy drinking but still has some complexity to keep you interested at every sip. It's got some ripe red and morello cherry, a herby hint and black pepper. And it's good value too, at around £15 per bottle. I'd totally recommend you this wine if you are looking for something easy, affordable, but with the right amount of natural-complexity and slight hint of funkyness.
I got it from Forest Wines.
